Weingut Sommer – Huxelrebe Spätlese 2021

Weingut Sommer – Huxelrebe Spätlese 2021

Many lovers of dry wines also like to enjoy a Spätlese. The fruity Huxelrebe from the Sommer winery was convincing.

A delicious German Prädikatswein from the Sommer winery in Siefersheim in the Rheinhessen region. The Huxelrebe Spätlese smells wonderfully fruity in the glass. Thanks to the fully ripe grapes, it has a pleasant, unobtrusive residual sweetness and seduces with its fruity taste.

This wine was tasted by MeinDolceVita and awarded the title GerneWieder-Wein 2022!

Did You Know?
The Huxelrebe is a white wine vine that produces berries that are both weather and disease-sensitive. The crossing was made in 1927 by Georg Scheu at the State Institute for Vine Breeding in Alzey. The vine is native almost exclusively to Germany. The new breed got its name from Fritz Huxel, who first extensively cultivated it in the 1950s in Westhofen (Rheinhessen).
