Update summer 2022: The quality is as high as ever, the garden is beautiful and romantic as always, and the Surschnitzerl was once again very tasty and of impeccable quality. Due to the large number of visitors during the peak period, this time the preparation takes longer than usual. But the friendly waitress was very competent and put me off: “No – it wasn’t forgotten… just takes a little longer now because…” Accepted! The wait was worth it!
The Heurige Distl Franz deserves the rating GerneWieder-Heuriger 2022. The big Surschnitzerl was always honest, sinew-free pork without compromise and always tasted delicious. The very beautiful, romantic guest garden, which stretches all the way to the vines, delights every visitor. MeinDolceVita says: A GerneWieder -Heuriger for many years.
The very nice presentation of the home-made wines next to the exit is also impressive. One last temptation to take a good drop home with you.
