Golden-yellow color in the glass, fragrant bouquet on the nose and delicious taste on the palate – that’s Stefanie’s Weißburgunder 2021 – a typical DAC quality wine from southern Styria.
Stefanie, that’s the name of the young boss of the Winery and Buschenschank Sauer in Kitzeck. The winery is on the route of the Kitzecker wine trail. Despite the closing time, I get a glass of delicious Pinot Blanc, which I enjoy on the sun terrace with a wonderful view.
Both the on-site tasting at the Sauer Winery and the later evaluation in the MeinDolceVita-WineStudio were convincing. Tested under different circumstances with different dishes, Stefanie’s Pinot Blanc 2021 always tastes delicious. It was not without good reason that this wine became a “finalist” in the “Styrian State Wine Evaluation”.
On MeinDolceVita, Stefanie’s Pinot Blanc 2021 received the GerneWieder-Wein 2022 award.
